We have a rare vacancy for a Catering Coordinator to join our Head Office team based in Cremorne, 3121.
This is no desk job! We’re looking for someone who can flex across all parts of our catering operations and get to know the business inside and out.
The position encompasses…
- Coordinating online orders using Flex Catering Software
- Being the point of contact for all EARL email enquiries & bespoke catering events
- Being sales-focused; anticipating guest and business needs
- Assisting with our kitchen team when things get busy, especially with packing and checking off orders
- Getting on the road and making deliveries when the schedule demands
- Assisting with outside catering events and EARL activations
- Maintaining an organised, stocked & tidy warehouse
As such, we are looking for an EARL brand ambassador who can provide exceptional service and a seamless, efficient experience for our predominantly corporate clientele.
Our new catering coordinator will…
- Have previous hospitality, events and exceptional customer service experience
- Enjoy a dynamic working environment, moving across different sections of the business as the day demands
- Be organised, methodical with a high attention to detail & good at prioritising
- Be food-savvy with a solid understanding of dietary requirements
- Be focussed on building lasting client relationships
- Show initiative and be proactive in finding solutions - Customer-focused!
- Be a systems whiz across Mac, using Flex and managing its back-end
- Have full-time availability, Monday - Friday from 7am
- Have an unrestricted driver's license and the ability to make occasional CBD deliveries
- Enjoy a Christmas / NY break with our office shutdown!
