This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and friendly Venue Manager to lead front of house operations and foster Repulic Economica to reach its full potential.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Promote and maintain a consistent and high-quality standard of customer service
- Meet budgets set by directors
- Proactivley lead, train and motivate front-of-house team
- Recruit and onboard staff
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Effective staff rostering
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and RSA and safety regulations
- Stock control
- Manage restaurants image and suggest ways to improve it
- Build rapport with guests, suppliers, venue team and other departments
The Successful Candidate:
You must demonstrate proven experience in hospitality and enjoyment in engaging with customers, enhancing experience and expectations. The successful candidate will have:
- An entrepreneurial mindset with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, and maintain smooth operations during busy hours
- A leadership style that is supportive, positive, authentic, engaging, and strategic
- Ability to train staff and deliver feedback effectively, drive teamwork
- Strong work ethic, excellent communication, organisational, delegation and conflict resolution skills
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, Deputy, Opentable, Mr Yum)
