Front of House Manager

Standing Room Coffee is on the look out for a Front of House Manager to join the team at our Fitzroy North cafe on St. George's Road. We're looking for engaging people who have experience leading a hospitality team, and a bit of coffee experience is a bonus!

• The position is full-time
• Tuesday - Saturday roster
• 38-40 hour work week

The right candidate:

• Must have 12 - 24 months experience in a similar role
• Must enjoy customer service and working efficiently in a small team and venue 

• Must foster healthy relationships with fellow staff and customers
• Coffee experience is not essential for this role, but preferred

About the position:

• You will be required to manage a team of front of house staff including rostering, training, general supervision and meetings
• You will be required to provide excellent customer service to patrons, and excellent leadership to employees.
• You will be required to uphold, enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• You will be required to handle customer complains and work with staff to educate best practice in this area
• You will be required to work closely with Back of House Managers
• You will be responsible for quality assurance of products leaving the cafe
• You will be responsible for ordering of front of house supplies including packaging, cleaning, front of house dry goods etc.
