We're looking for a permanent full time Chef de Partie to join our opening team at Avani Wines (based on the Mornington Peninsula).
About Us
Avani is a family owned and operated winery producing premium cool-climate wines on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, 1hr drive south of Melbourne. The cellar door was awarded Gourmet Travellers Best Small Cellar Door for Mornington in 2022.
Having run successful pop-up dining events over the last 5 years, Avani is now establishing a Cellar Bar with a permanent bar snacks/lunch offering – a thrilling time to join the business!
About the Role
An exciting career opportunity exists for a Chef de Partie to join our team at Avani in a full time position role starting mid-October. The ideal candidate will have a wind range of preparation and cooking skills, be familiar with the operation of a busy kitchen, strong knowledge of produce, techniques, and the ability to prepare and execute beautiful dishes in a fast-paced environment. The menu will be focussed on South Asian and South-East Asian cuisine.
During off peak periods, the candidate will also have the opportunity to be involved in assisting in the winery or vineyard to further their knowledge of the business.
