One of Australia's finest design stores, Make Designed Objects retails an extensive range of contemporary products from iconic international design houses and Australian designer/makers through our store in Carlton and online.
We represent over 300 designers from over 150 brands including Iittala, Alessi, Menu, Eva Solo, Fink & Co!, Missoni, Normann Copenhagen and Marimekko.
We require a highly motivated and intelligent person to join us. The successful applicant will share a broad range of duties and responsibilities including POS, customer service, merchandising, processing of online orders, packing and shipping, cleaning and almost every other activity that goes into running a successful retail business.
The available position is a permanent position for 3 days per week with additional days/hours at peak times such as December.
Superannuation and free lunch (there is such a thing) included.
A profit share program is available after 21 months in the job.
A background and interest in design/art and retail experience would be an advantage.
