Falco Bakery is seeking an experienced, passionate and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team. We are a friendly and hard-working bunch who work with quality ingredients to produce sweet and savoury baked goods.
About the Role:
As a Head Pastry Chef, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for executing a diverse range of exquisite pastries and baked goods. Your role involves collaborating with a team of skilled pastry professionals, working with production schedules, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, and continuously exploring new techniques and ingredients.
The role does require working weekends and early mornings.
About us:
We are a small-batch bakery that uses traditional techniques with an innovative spin to create delicious, baked goods. We opened our first Falco on Smith Street back in 2019 and we have been serving our community ever since. Falco Langridge Street is our second home which we opened in February 2023. Falco Johnston Street, our third venue, opened in December 2023.
About you:
To be offered the role of Pastry Chef, you will have a deep understanding of pastry techniques and strong attention to detail. Alongside your passion and genuine interest in baking and pastry, you must be reliable, dedicated and able to work under your own initiative as well as being a team player. You have a creative mindset, and are dynamic, motivated, organised, patient and responsible.
A minimum of 2 years experience is essential.
