As Head Savoury Chef, you are responsible for producing high-quality products in collaboration with the Executive Chef. To do this, you work closely with your team providing them with continuous support and feedback.
About the role:
Preparation and cooking of our savoury goods.
Ensure food presentation meets our high standards of quality.
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen workspace.
Work collaboratively with the team to deliver excellent customer service.
Assist in stock control, inventory, and ordering of ingredients.
Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are maintained.
About Us:
We are a small-batch bakery that uses traditional techniques with an innovative spin to create delicious, baked goods. We opened our first Falco on Smith Street back in 2019 and we have been serving our community ever since. Falco Langridge Street is our second home which we opened in February 2023. Falco Johnston Street, our third venue, opened in December 2023.
About you:
You will have worked in a similar cafe, bakery or restaurant environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
