About the Opportunity:
We are looking for Chefs de Partie to join our team. Assist senior chefs with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, utilising your skills & experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that your section and team operates to optimum efficiency by planning, organising, supporting and coaching the team to LUCAS Restaurants’ standards. You will be a passionate and a highly energetic hospitality professional.
 
Ideal Candidate Must Have: 

  • Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie in an a-la-carte restaurant
  • Knowledge in and experience with Italian cuisine is advantageous
  • Exceptional communication and immaculate presentation
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead a team
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
  • Understanding of Food Safety and OH&S standards and compliance
  • Experience in effectively maintaining and managing set ups, changeovers, closedown, and handover to standard
  • Knowledge and ability to use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
  • Calm and composed demeanour
  • Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
