casual retail assistant

Goldies is a children's concept store located on Gertrude Street in Fitzroy. Goldies is small run childrens wear brands that are fun to wear and made to last as well as a small curated range of gifts for grownups.
We are looking for a superstar retail assistant for 2-3 days per week ongoing. **MUST HAVE AVAILABILITY XMAS EVE DAY AND BOXING DAY** as well as availability leading up tp Christmas and the holiday period. 
to be considered for the role:
- minimum 3 years retail experience in a similar role
- must have christmas availability as per above
- experience with social media -  necessary 
- prior experience with shopify/POS not necessary but a huge bonus 
- confident working independantly 
- lovely human
- keen interest to learn about products in store and the general running of the store 
- open and close shop
- keeping store looking lovely alwats 
- greeting customers 
- packing online orders for dispatch 
- wrapping in store orders for customers 
- knowledge of brands would be amazing but of course not neccessary. 
- adding customers into database 
- experience with web design would be a huge plus.
