We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 2+ years of leadership experience in a high-service-quality environment
  
  
• Has managed and motivated teams of 20 or more staff
  
  
• Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and leads by example with professionalism and care
  
  
• Is passionate about team development, training, and delivering outstanding service
  
  
• Has strong operational management skills — rostering, financial oversight, and driving team performance
  
  
• Enjoys fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and community spirit
  
  
• Has an interest in Japanese food and culture (a bonus, not essential)
  
  

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, mentoring, and developing the FOH team
  
  
• Ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional customer experience
  
  
• Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews
  
  
• Driving team engagement and maintaining a positive workplace culture
  
  
• Collaborating with other managers on sales, events, and business growth
  
  
• Managing financial targets including wages, COGS, and budgeting
  
  
• Upholding compliance, safety, and sustainability standards
