About Us
Moondarra Cheese is a family-owned Australian company and a leading producer of flavoured cream cheese. In 2023, we expanded into the world of premium artisan cheese with the acquisition of Tarago Cheese, home of the iconic Shadows of Blue.
Eighteen months ago, we opened the Moondarra & Tarago Cheese Shop and Café in Dandenong South. While we proudly feature Moondarra and Tarago cheeses, our shop offers a wide selection of local and international cheeses, curated for true cheese lovers. The café is a key part of our strategy to connect with customers, showcase our products, and share our love of cheese.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Retail / Cafe Manager to join our small but growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s looking to take the next step in their career, bring fresh ideas, and work in a supportive environment where initiative is valued.
You’ll be at the heart of our café and cheese shop, helping with everything from curating cheese selections and driving retail sales to refining a menu that celebrates our range of cheeses. You’ll make sure the space is always clean, safe, and inviting.
Working closely with our marketing and sales teams, you’ll help shape and deliver sales strategies while also leading the roll-out of events, product tastings, and other customer engagement initiatives. You will assist representing the brand at food shows and industry events, helping us share our passion for cheese with an even wider audience.
