We have 2 roles for aggressive up and comer head F&B leaders looking for a big step up.
BlackGates is a new boutique hotel with upscale dining on the island of Sumbawa on the Flores Sea Coast of Indonesia. A 40 minute flight from Bali.
While we have luxury accommodation - our aggressive focus is F&B around fresh local seafood & horticulture at our 6 hectare hilltop site. You will have wide range to help design the food direction and organise 2 teams of 18 staff of trained locals in two kitchens including an outdoor live fire kitchen. Think Margaret River - Hunter Valley meets Chang Mai.
We serve international guests in house and local clients in 2 new venues. Breakfast, lunches, dinner service & some on site events.
You Are
- Australian Citizen (only)
- Commercial cookery level 3 or 4 qualified.
- Minimum 3 years line experience turning out delicious top tier food at pace.
- A high energy, creative problem solver
- Proven to work well with others in cross cultural situations
- Experienced in cost control & seasonal menu designs
- Able to build a high performing team.
- Reliable, flexible & ready to jump in
This is a role where you will build a legacy for yourself in a Master Chef level operation turning out amazing food.
