Anerie is seeking a full-time Chef with European cooking experience to join our small but mighty bistro kitchen on Phillip Island. Clean, calm, and organised? We want you.
Anerie is Phillip Island’s only true French bistro, a locally loved, high-quality venue known for traditional French cuisine, intimate dining, and a fiercely proud commitment to doing things properly.
We’re currently seeking a qualified, experienced chef to join our team, someone with a passion for French/European cuisine and a knack for maintaining clean, organised, high-functioning kitchens.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a professional kitchen
Demonstrated experience with traditional French cooking techniques
Desire to contribute to or take the lead in menu development
Team-first mindset, and the ability to work autonomously
Clean, organised, and proactive, we run tight, not chaotic
A calm communicator who leads by example
High food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work in a small, collaborative team
IMPORTANT NOTE: Our kitchen is smaller than most domestic kitchens, but it consistently punches above its weight. If you're resourceful, efficient, and thrive in well-run spaces, you’ll fit right in.
