We're hiring Prep & Events Chefs (junior and senior). These roles are all about execution -- prepping, organising and delivering high-quality food for events. You'll help ensure everything runs smoothly, on time and to standard. You must be detail-focused, calm under pressure, efficient and a strong team player.
Role Overview
The Prep & Events Chef is responsible for preparing, organising and executing food for events to a high standard of quality and presentation. This role ensures smooth service, punctual delivery and consistency across all dishes.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and organise food for events during weekly prep shifts
Assist with packing, loading and food service at events in Sydney and surrounds
Maintain high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety
Work efficiently to event schedules and deadlines
Some work may require regional travel or occasional overnight stays
Senior chefs may supervise junior staff and lead sections when required
What We’re Looking For
Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
Calm under pressure and able to execute to a high standard
Flexible — able to work both prep shifts and on-site events
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Experience in commercial kitchens or catering (leadership required for senior roles)
Driver’s licence preferred but not essential
Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
