Melbourne Fringe is seeking a Venue Manager to lead operations at Fringe Common Rooms, our year-round cultural hub at Trades Hall. This is a fixed-term parental leave cover role, an ideal opportunity for an experienced venue or events professional to step into a dynamic, creatively charged environment.
You’ll manage day-to-day operations across gigs, performances, private hires and community events, ensuring seamless service and memorable experiences for artists, audiences and clients. With strong hospitality instincts and sharp operational skills, you’ll oversee everything from staff and bar to tech, stock and safety, keeping the venue running at its absolute best.
The role also includes leading bar operations across key festival periods, including Melbourne Fringe Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and other major events, bringing energy, consistency and that unmistakable Fringe spirit to every service.
