We are an established, respected Glebe café–restaurant with a strong reputation, loyal clientele, and high daily volume. As part of the continued growth of the business, we are preparing to expand operations and reintroduce evening service.
We are looking for a serious chef with strong cafe and restaurant experience who has the ability, maturity, and leadership to help guide the kitchen through this next stage.
This is not a standard café role. This is a leadership position within a growing business.
The role
You will work directly with owners to lead kitchen operations, maintain structure and standards, and play a key role in the expansion of the business and the reintroduction of night service.
This position offers genuine influence, responsibility, and long-term opportunity for the right chef.
Essential experience
• Minimum 5 years professional kitchen experience
• Strong cafe and restaurant background essential
• Experience as Senior Sous, Head Chef or equivalent leadership role
• Proven ability to manage service, workflow, and team structure
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Professionalism, reliability, and personal accountability
