Chef

We're looking for two chefs to join the kitchen team at Daphne — one full time and one casual.

If you're a couple of years into your cooking career and looking for a kitchen where you'll actually get your hands on things and continue to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

Daphne is a neighbourhood restaurant on Lygon Street in Brunswick East. We make our own pasta, cook over woodfire, do our own butchery and fermenting, and work with great produce. We're a small team that works hard, backs each other and genuinely enjoys what we do.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has around 2–3 years' experience in a professional kitchen
• Is reliable and turns up ready to work
• Is interested in food and keen to keep learning
• Works well as part of a team
• Can keep their head during a busy service
• Takes pride in doing things properly
