Bar attendant

YOUR ROLE

Your primary role as Bar Attendant will be to fulfill the venues service requirements of floor and bar service. The successful candidate will also oversee the general running of the bar including syrup and cocktail batch prep, equipment and general maintenance, bar organisation & cleanliness and ensuring we have adequate equipment and glassware for service and events.

This critical role comes with the opportunity to host and lead experiences for our guests at the highest level in a unique and exciting way. This means that innovation and collaboration with the major stakeholders is a must. In addition to the in-service requirements, the role will oversee the operations of produce ordering and management, syrup and cocktail batch production, equipment and general maintenance, bar organisation & cleanliness and ensuring we have adequate equipment and glassware for service and events.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Floor and bar service
• Opening and closing the venue when required
• Oversee bar preparation and organisation
• Responsible service of alcohol and licensee responsibilities
• Influence key KPI’s in a proactive manner
• Equipment maintenance
• Guest relations, ensuring all patrons have an exceptional and safe hospitality experience

• Presentation skills
• Previous guest relations experience

• Have a detailed knowledge of sprits and beverages
