Senior Front of House

Experienced in front of house and love wine, good food and great service?

Gemini Wine Bar is looking for a Senior Front of House team member for 4–5 shifts a week. You’ll work alongside our Venue Manager, helping keep service running smoothly and looking after our guests and regulars. We’re a community-focused wine bar and restaurant on Sydney Road, also open daily for coffee, pastries and pantry, with a friendly team focused on high-quality experiences.

The role

• 4–5 shifts a week, mostly evenings including Fri and Sat nights, plus at least one Sunday day a month
• Delivering polished, warm table and bar service
• Assisting the Venue Manager to keep the floor flowing and standards high
• Talking wine with guests and guiding them through our list
• Assisting with closing a couple of nights a week, including cash-off and lock-up

You’ll suit this if you have

• A real passion for creating incredible experiences for guests, from the first hello to the last glass
• 2+ years front of house in restaurants, wine bars or quality à la carte venues
• A solid working knowledge of wine and confidence recommending it to guests
• A love of looking after people, remembering names and making regulars feel at home
• Confidence on a busy dinner service
• A calm, reliable and responsible approach
• A team-first attitude and happiness to pitch in wherever it’s needed
• WSET or hospitality trade qualifications are a bonus
