Requiring many hats; as a catering whizz, a communications specialist, administrative genius and with enough personal spark to motivate and inspire partners, team members & guests, this is a rare opportunity to make your mark with an established Melbourne hospitality group.
We are seeking a self-motivated, strategic manager that identifies opportunities and potential issues before others and thinks dynamically, creatively & enthusiastically. With previous experience in corporate catering and/or events, you will work collaboratively with our management teams to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.

The Catering & Events Manager is a strategic leadership role within the group, as such we expect you to be a motivated self-starter, able to think on your feet and solve problems independently with weekly reporting to the directors.
EARL Canteen is a dynamic, Melbourne based hospitality institution with 14 years of cafe & catering growth, we love working with people that are as passionate about hospitality, customer service and quality F&B as we are. Dame Melbourne at 35 Collins St was established in 2022, an iconic Melbourne high-end cafe during the day and exclusive event space in the evening.
This is a full-time role based at our Cremorne HQ working predominantly Monday to Friday during the day, requiring some flexibility with events demands.
