Chef de Partie / Junior Sous

We are looking for a chef to fill a CDP role with an opportuinty to step into a junior sous chef role 

Who we are

We are a small restaurant business with a house of brands under our belt including Anchovy, Jeow and Ca Com. Our brands focus on showcasing the qualities of South East Asian cuisine (particularly the Indochinese region of Vietnam and Laos). As a business, we have been known to serve delicious flavours and been on the forefront of innovating within Vietnamese cuisine in Melbourne. After a two year hiatus, chef-owner Thi Le is looking to reinvigorate the Anchovy brand and so here we are. 

Who we are looking for

• 2 to 3 years experience working in restaurants or similar environment
• Skills in butchery, working with pasta or noodle doughs, cooking on wok station
• Skills in pastry will be looked upon favourably
• Experience working in a small team
• Comfortable with change
• Someone who is keen to learn and take initiatives
• You'll join with sharp knives and an interest in peninsula South East Asian cuisine
• Experience in Asian and European kitchens
