As Sous Chef, you are responsible for supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day operations. You are required to manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring you and your team are always delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities include:
- Creating a positive and collaborative working environment by providing support and training to your team
- Oversee your team to ensure the prep is up to standard, ensuring you are delivering high-quality products at all times
- Monitor and maintain the kitchen's overall cleanliness
- Effectively use and properly maintain all systems
- Monitor stock levels and order accurately for the next day, in particular, in the absence of the Savoury Lead
- Maintain the site's overall cleanliness by regularly inspecting all areas, taking action where maintenance or cleaning is required
- Develop and maintain food safety and health & safety standards to ensure a safe working environment
About us:
We are a small-batch bakery that uses traditional techniques with an innovative spin to create delicious, baked goods. We opened our first Falco on Smith Street back in 2019 and we have been serving our community ever since. Falco Langridge Street is our second home which we opened in February 2023. Falco Johnston Street, our third venue, opened in December 2023.
We are part of a wider group which includes Bar Liberty and Capitano.
