We are looking for an energetic CDP to join our team, someone who is a keen to grow within the role.

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Job responsibilities are:

1. Food Preparation and Cooking:

- Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and recipes provided, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and quality.

- Assist in developing new menu items and specials, incorporating creativity and innovation.

- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.

 

2. Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with the Head Chef and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of food.

- Support and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.

- Maintain effective communication with the front-of-house team to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.

 

3. Food Safety and Hygiene:

- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients.

- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, following health and safety regulations.

- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.

 

4. Inventory Management:

- Assist in monitoring and controlling food costs by minimising waste and ensuring accurate portioning controll.

- Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to manage inventory levels and place orders as needed.

- Properly receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and storage of ingredients.

 

Minum requirements to become a successful candidate:

- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively.

- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
