Laung Laachi Werribee Indian Restaurant is a brand-new Indian eatery set to open in Werribee, Victoria. We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team and help us create an unforgettable dining experience.

Position Summary:

As a Full-Time Chef, you will play a crucial role in the success of our restaurant. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our menu, overseeing kitchen operations, training staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect authentic Indian cuisine
• Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
• Manage food inventory and costs
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certificate or diploma in culinary arts or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with a focus on Indian cuisine
• Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and spices
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Passion for Indian food and a commitment to quality
