We are seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead our team at The Hills Wine Bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep appreciation for wine and food. As the Venue Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring an outstanding experience for our guests while fostering a positive and productive environment for our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service. Manage inventory, supplier relationships, and cost control.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor team members. Promote a positive work culture that encourages collaboration and excellence.
- Customer Experience: Enhance the guest experience by ensuring excellent service, addressing customer feedback, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Event Planning: Organize and manage special events, tastings, and wine-pairing dinners to promote engagement and increase revenue.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Wine Knowledge: Curate and update the wine list, providing staff training on wine offerings and food pairings to enhance guest experience.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, as well as licensing laws.
Qualifications:
