Job Opportunity: Full-Time Chef at Tandoor Indian Cusine

Salary: AUD 65,000 - AUD 75,000 per annum plus superannuation

Tandoor Indian Cusine is seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dynamic team. If you have a flair for Indian cuisine and a dedication to delivering exceptional culinary experiences, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes with a focus on quality and authenticity.
• Plan and execute menu items, ensuring consistency and high standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Supervise kitchen staff and assist in training where necessary.
• Monitor inventory and assist in ordering supplies to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new menu ideas and improve existing offerings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, specializing in Indian cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients.
• Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
