As we expand our morning offering, we’re seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to take charge of daytime operations. If you’re passionate about specialty coffee, great service, and creating a welcoming guest experience, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
This is a full-time position across five days per week, including at least one weekend day. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the morning shift and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, working closely with the Venue Manager to bring energy, structure, and consistency to our service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the morning and daytime team, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Foster a warm, guest-focused environment and uphold high service standards.
- Oversee the specialty coffee program, including preparation, quality control, and team training.
- Support the Venue Manager with team leadership, daily operations, and strategy implementation.
- Assist with inventory management and stock control.
- Help coordinate reservations, online orders, and general admin.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in hospitality leadership—ideally as a supervisor or assistant manager.
- Strong specialty coffee knowledge and hands-on barista experience.
- A passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Wine knowledge or experience with wine sales/service is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Confidence using tools like Lightspeed, Deputy, Shopify.
- Current RSA certification.
