ASSISTANT VENUE MANAGER / BAR MANAGER - JOHNNY'S GREEN ROOM – CARLTON

We are now on the hunt for an Assistant Venue Manager/Bar Manager to help drive the fun and good times at Johnny’s Green Room (JGR).

A bit about the place

Johnny’s Green Room is the perfect amalgamation of delish ‘Italian party food’ (by famed Karen Martini), cracker cocktails (by the one and only Matt Baxter) and laid-back tunes, all while watching the world go by on the Carlton streets below.   It’s fun, easy and unpretentious, just like your approach to work.

A bit about the role 

We are all about serving a great product with passion, humour and expertise.  This dual role will see you working alongside our expert team to take ‘JGR’ to the next level.  A role that will see you focusing on the bar, in regard to product development, operations, COG's management, alongside training and upskilling the bar and front-of-house teams.  Perfect for a pub or bar aficionado ready to take the next step in their hospitality career.

You will also help evolve the front-of-house service, facilitate events and coordinate live music/DJ’s, all whilst delivering relaxed yet skilled service with humour and enthusiasm.
