As Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of food preparation and presentation that our guests expect. Position Summary

As Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of food preparation and presentation that our guests expect. Working closely with the Head Chef and other team members, you will be responsible for running your section efficiently and consistently, while contributing to a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.

  Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your designated section to the highest standard.

  • Support the Head Chef in maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

  • Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards are upheld.

  • Assist with the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff.

  • Participate in menu planning, stock control, and inventory management as required.

  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver a consistently excellent dining experience.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to step up.

  • Strong understanding of modern Australian cuisine and a passion for local, seasonal ingredients.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

  • Excellent time management and communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
