Guide guests to tables, present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations
Take food & beverage orders accurately, relay them to the kitchen/bar, monitor timing and ensure correctness
Maintain high standards of service — anticipate guest needs, check back to ensure satisfaction, respond to feedback
Collaborate tightly with kitchen, bar, hosts, and managers to ensure smooth flow of service
Manage and maintain appearance of front-of-house spaces: ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, table setup, glassware, lighting, music etc.
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for orders & payments; close out sections/tables efficiently
Assist with opening and closing duties as required
Uphold all health, safety, hygiene and regulatory standards
