Mexican Street Food is looking to grow our team in Westgarth with people that are passionate about great food and customer service. We're looking for experienced Front of House team members to work with us 4 nights a week from Wednesday-Saturday, open until close.
Based in Westgarth Village Northcote for the past 8 years, we're a small family business serving the food we loved from our travels through Central Mexico & the Yucatan.
With a focused & ever changing menu, and a simple cocktail & wine offering to compliment the food.
We both work in the business, but due to family commitments, can't both be there full time, so we're growing our team.
We're on the hunt for experienced front of house staff to do all the things FoH does, from setup before service until close in the evening.
You'll be able to work independently & support the kitchen so that the night flows for customers & the team alike.
With the margaritas flowing at night you'll definitely need your RSA.
Bar experience would be great, and mixing a limited number of cocktails to our recipes will be part of the role. We keep the drinks menu pretty simple, so don't stress too much if you haven't worked behind the bar before.
You'll be working across the floor, from setting up, taking orders, running food & making/serving drinks. We work as a team to make the night fun for our guests.
You're an experienced Front of House team member that enjoys a fast pace and interacting with customers. You're enthusiastic & know that service is every bit as important as the food and drinks we serve. You also have some bar experience.
