We're recruiting our first-ever Cafe Manager.

As we grow, we're looking for an experienced hospitality leader ready to take ownership of the day-to-day and grow with the Nice Guy Eddie team.

About this role:

The Cafe Manager is the senior leader on the floor, reporting directly to the owners.

You're responsible for the day-to-day performance of the cafe - team, culture, guest experience, coffee and food quality, and the numbers. You set the tone. You hold the standards. You keep the cafe humming from open to close.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll lead from the floor, coach in real time, and build a strong, accountable team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and maintaining a strong front-of-house team, and working collaboratively with the kitchen on common goals.
• Ensuring a consistent open and closing procedure, while running a smooth, high-volume daily service
• Rostering effectively and managing productivity
• Ordering and stock control
• Driving exceptional customer experience and service standards
• Maintaining coffee and food quality
• Hiring, onboarding and training team members
• Helping manage costs and protect margins

About you:

• Previous cafe management experience
• Strong barista skills and confidence in high-volume service
• Warm, approachable and professional with customers and team
• Calm, organised and consistent under pressure
• A strong communicator who leads by example
• Passionate about hospitality, food and coffee
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards
