Bartender / Section Waiter

Osteria Ilaria is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic hospitality professional to join our team. We are on the lookout for a knowledgeable bartender with section waiter skills, a vibrant personality and an eagerness to work as a team.

Approaching our 10th year, Ilaria is a staple of Melbourne's hospitality scene, offering contemporary Italian fare alongside an impressive list of wines from around the world. Work alongside seasoned professionals in a fast paced and dynamic city venue. Full or part-time hours available. A great opportunity to join an award-winning venue in the heart of Melbourne CBD. 

The role will require you to have:

• Cocktail experience in bars and/or restaurants
• At least 2 years of experience in a fast paced, busy restaurant
• Previous experience in hatted venues advantageous but not essential
• A can-do attitude, enthusiasm, and an eagerness to learn
• Warm, polished and attentive service
• Attention to detail and desire to offer exceptional hospitality
• Great communication skills and an ability to work as part of a team
• Drive, initiative and an interest in the Melbourne food and wine scene
• Wine knowledge an advantage but not essential
