We are seeking experienced and superstar Chefs to assist our Head Chef for our opening team. This position requires passion for food & service excellence and is fantastic opportunity to work with a very well established hospitality group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produces a high quality food product at all times
- Demonstrate superior recipe knowledge for every item on the menu
- Monitor food quality and quantity as it relates to portion control
- Monitor all food storage facilities to ensure that proper storage techniques are being used and that the cleanliness standards are being maintained
- Requisition the appropriate amount of food product in accordance with the established policies and procedures
- Ensure that all standard recipes are followed in all outlets
- Maintain a harmonious relationship with other members of the service team
- Comply with all of the established operational policies & procedures
- Maintain a clean & safe working environment
- Have a full knowledge of, and practice all of the established occupational health and safety guidelines (OH&S)
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Head Chefs
What we are looking for:
- Experience as a CDP in a premium venue
- Min 2 years relevant experience
- A desire to learn and grow
- Hold a trade qualification
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards
