Based in Botany, we’re looking for someone who is process driven with at least 2 years experience in food production (ideally pastry or bread) to join our growing team. This is a warehouse setting, so if you have pick&packing experience, or any general warehouse experience this would be advantageous. 

Hours are based on an approx. 38hr week 630am-230pm Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities and desired experience include -

• Preparation of ingredients, weighing ingredients and following recipes to produce consistent results. Every time!
• Packing, labelling and packaging products as necessary with an eye for detail
• Bread making, mixing doughs
• Using a dough-sheeter and working with pastry
• Cooking seasonal speciality items for our markets days
• Cleaning duties to maintain excellent food safety requirements
• Understanding of how to receive orders, help with stock inventory and stock rotation as necessary
• Support our continuing focus on sustainability practices
• The ability to work harmoniously as part of a team, as well as autonomously
• Warehouse experience or forklift license an advantage
