We're looking for a pick-packer to join our wonderful warehouse team in a permanent part time capacity (3 days per week).

The Dirt Company is on a mission to make products that do less harm a better choice.
We create sustainable, beautiful and affordable laundry products with an aim to reduce our waste streams as much as possible through in-house waste management. And we do it all from our warehouse and office here in the heart of Brunswick, Naarm.
Our business has been growing, and we’re looking to grow our dispatch (pick pack) team to support the additional order volume. We’re after a new part time team member to help us get all our orders out the door, based on our same day dispatch promise.
Our new recruit will join our warehouse team. At about 10 strong, it’s a blend of uni-students, career starters and part-timers who are unafraid to get their hands Dirt-ie. This role is perfect for anyone who wants to work in a growing tight knit team with a purpose.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and label customer orders
- Ensure adequate stock levels at the dispatch station and top up as required
- Process refill return packaging (we re-use refill packs that customers send back!)
- Process our cardboard waste (which we reuse as packaging padding)
- Work closely with our customer service to ensure any changes/updates to orders are processed in a timely manner
- Receive and process incoming deliveries
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Constantly evaluate our processes and update as required - we’re a quickly evolving business and expect all staff to be constantly evaluating how we can provide a better service to our customers!
Requirements/experience
- 3 days per week (Mon and Tue req, other day negotiable), 8am-4pm
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to maintain a clean working environment (think the type of person that keeps a clean kitchen at home!)
- Ability to stay focused while completing repetitive tasks
- You’re into sustainability and doing what you can to reduce waste in the world
