Magnolia is a 1 Hat venue in Brunswick, serving modern French cuisine. Work with an ever-changing menu, dictated by the season and the ethical, sustainable produce we source.
This is a full-time role, working up to 40 hours over 4 days. The work week is Wednesday-Saturday, with a combination of mise-en-place and service shifts over the 4 days. The venue is very close to the tram and train lines, making it very accessible.
The right applicant for this role is a skilled Chef De Partie with a passion for French cooking and technique, sharp knives, and a tenacious attitude towards their work. You will be working in a small team, so a positive personality, speed, high attention to detail, a good palate and a solid work ethic are a must. You will have a minimum of 6 years of career experience, with experience in hatted venues or similar being favoured strongly. This role could lead to a Sous Chef position in the future for the chef with the right passion and attitude!
