Bellota Wine Bar in South Melbourne is a small venue with a big heart - serving Eurocentric food that is wine friendly. Operating successfully now for over 10 years, the kitchen is headed up by Nicky Riemer and she is looking to expand the team.
We are looking for a chef to join our tight nit crew. This is a full time salaried position, with a suitable work / life balance as we are closed Sunday, Monday – YAY!

We focus on classic cooking techniques with regular changes to the menu and constant varying specials – an excellent opportunity to continue honing your skills as a Chef.
As chefs we work alongside a small front of house team that are equally passionate about the industry.

The successful applicant will be a team player, a strong communicator, self motivated and love the energy of a busy service! This Chef should love to cook alongside a strong desire to continue to learn; we even have access to increasing your wine knowledge with our other business, the Prince Wine Store. Internal wine courses are available for all staff at no cost!
Experience in a similar role is helpful, but we are keen to talk to a chef who is looking for a new challenge.
