We are seeking a passionate and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Food & Beverage team. In this leadership role, you will support the F&B Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience for every guest, and inspiring your team to deliver service excellence.
Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and high standards.
Lead, motivate, and support the F&B team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Oversee reservations, guest seating, and service flow to optimise dining room efficiency.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional, solution-focused manner.
Monitor and maintain presentation standards of the restaurant, ensuring all areas are clean, welcoming, and aligned with brand expectations.
Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback to support team development.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure consistent communication and smooth operations.
Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management in line with operational needs.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a restaurant or hotel environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Organised, proactive, and confident in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Understanding of rostering, stock management, and basic administrative tasks.
Knowledge of POS systems and familiarity with hotel F&B operations is an advantage.
