We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team and work alongside Head Chef Leigh Irish at The Stanley Pub in gorgeous North East Victoria. We are an Asian fusion restaurant, with a more relaxed beer garden offering and a cafe wine bar in the stunning tiny tourist farming town of Stanley.
You’ll work closely with our Head Chef to:
Help lead daily kitchen operations
Maintain our high standards of food, consistency, and presentation
Assist with our seasonal menu changes and local producers
Oversee service efficiently and assist in supporting back and FOH.
Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene, stock control, and cost management practices
About You
You have a love for food, wine, and hospitality. Its in your blood.You bring:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a CDP
A passion for local and seasonal ingredients
Strong organisational and communication skills
A calm, professional approach under pressure
A real interest in great wine and guest experience
