Chef/Experienced cook

• an enthusiastic, creative chef or experienced cook to run the food side of the business
• RSA essential. Some wine/beverage knowledge desirable
• full-time position 5 days/nights per week, including weekends
• set roster/predictable hours/no overtime
• experience essential (experience in small kitchens preferred)
• no separation between kitchen and FOH, you will be working as part of a very small team in a very open kitchen, so serving customers and other FOH tasks will be necessary 
• must be passionate about food, hospitality, music and interested in expanding wine and cocktail knowledge
• must be able to work autonomously
• drivers licence and own car essential

        Your duties will be 

• menu design, in consultation with business owners
• ordering
• food prep and mise en place
• prep for cocktail batching, garnishes, cordials etc.
• stock rotation and stock control
• maintenance of food safety records
• menu design for functions from time to time
• some shopping required from time to time
