Customer Account Manager

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Customer Account Manager to manage a portfolio of customers across a variety of businesses - restaurants, bars, cafes, bakeries, and retail shops.
ABOUT THE JOB
The role will focus on building strong relationships, regenerating dormant accounts, and driving increased spend within your current customer base. You will proactively engage with your contacts and visit them regularly to keep them up-to-date on seasonal produce and our mission. You will play a key part in planning their menus, as well as resolving any issues if and when they arise.
You will have a great passion and knowledge of the restaurant industry, seasonality, sustainability and farming. There will be ongoing opportunities to continue to improve this knowledge for both yourself and your customers. You will be a key player in both managing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities to grow the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and nurture long term relationships with customers to drive growth, with a strong focus on regenerating dormant accounts and increasing sales within your portfolio
- Regularly engage with customers to provide insights on seasonal produce & assist with menu planning
- Work with sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth service delivery and address customer concerns effectively
- Use data to assess account performance and develop strategies to meet sales targets and customer needs
- Being a knowledgeable and passionate public-facing representative of Natoora - educating our customers and showing why we do, and they should, care about changing the food system
ABOUT YOU:
- Experience in account management or a customer facing role, preferably in the food or hospitality sector
- Excellent relationship building skills, with a proven track record of increasing customer spend
- Comfortable identifying opportunities for growth, solving problems, and using data to drive decisions
- Collaborative and eager to work across departments to achieve common goals
- Comfortable and competent at organising a full schedule of meetings each week and spending the majority of time out of the office visiting customers
