About the Role

As our Café Manager, you will oversee daily operations, lead and inspire your team, manage financial performance, and help shape the café as a welcoming community hub.

You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while ensuring smooth, profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning menus in consultation with chefs
• Planning and organising special functions and events
• Arranging purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
• Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional, and well presented
• Conferring with customers to assess satisfaction with meals and service
• Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
• Taking reservations, greeting guests, and assisting with orders when required
• Managing budgets and setting prices
• Driving local marketing initiatives to increase patronage

About You

You will bring:

• AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management
• At least 1 year experience as a cafe manager
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Strong focus on delivering positive customer experiences
• Financial and business acumen
• Business and marketing innovation mindset
• A genuine passion and keen interest in coffee
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
