As a lifestyle concept brand connecting design, food, and everyday living between Australia and Japan, we believe that simple, seasonal, nourishing food has the power to enrich people's daily lives.

Our kitchen works closely alongside hospitality, retail, grocery, and the wider CIBI team to create thoughtful everyday experiences. We are looking for a Kitchen Chef who cares deeply about quality, enjoys working as part of a team, and is motivated by creating meaningful experiences through food.

This opportunity would suit someone who is interested in developing their craft, contributing to a strong team, and taking on greater responsibility over time.

You'll be part of a team that values care, curiosity, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. Beyond preparing and serving food, you'll contribute to the culture, quality, and day-to-day rhythm of the kitchen while creating meaningful experiences for our customers.

• Preparing and presenting food that reflects CIBI's food philosophy — simple, seasonal, balanced, and nourishing
• Managing your section efficiently throughout service
• Supporting kitchen organisation, stock management, and ordering
• Working closely with the wider kitchen team to maintain quality and consistency
• Collaborating with hospitality, retail, and grocery teams to contribute to a seamless customer experience across CIBI
• Contributing to the development of a positive, organised, and collaborative kitchen culture
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional kitchen (Australian experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of food preparation, service standards, and kitchen organisation
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members is highly regarded
• Experience with stock control and ordering is advantageous
