About Us:

 

Trader House is a collective of restaurants, bars, and specialty retail stores by Melbourne-based chef, cookbook author and columnist Andrew McConnell and photographer Jo McGann. They are Gimlet at Cavendish House, Apollo Inn, Cutler & Co., Supernormal, Bar Miette, Cumulus Inc., Marion, Builders Arms Hotel, Meatsmith Heritage Butcher and Morning Market.  

Launching ten years ago in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, Supernormal is a multi-award-winning venue and the brainchild of critically acclaimed Australian restaurateur, Andrew McConnell. Supernormal’s menu reflects McConnell’s five-year stretch heading up kitchens in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and deftly combines elements of Japanese, Korean and Chinese cuisine with the best in seasonal local produce. The downstairs private dining room is a multipurpose space perfect for lunches, banquet dinners or cocktails for groups of up to 60. Complete with a 15,000 strong song catalogue, the space doubles as a Karaoke Den, with flexible specialty menu items.

 

Supernormal is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Guest Services Coordinator.

  • Are you a restaurant professional looking to be immersed in a venue that is fun, fast paced, and entrenched in the food culture of Melbourne?
  • Play a pivotal role in curating end-to-end events with guests
  • Are you commercially minded and keen to provide expertise in the daily operation of a vibrant restaurant via a guest-orientated lens?

  • Have a keen understanding of how to develop, review and strategise reservations and events in order to maximise opportunities and reach targets?
