We are a relatively small team, but are growing quickly, and have become a popular destination for Melbourne diners. We pride ourselves on working with high quality ingredients, supplied by some of Melbourne's best suppliers. We are very process driven, with a focus on pasta making, fermentation and butchery along with many other skills. About the role: This is an amazing opportunity for a talented Chef de Partie to join our team. As a Chef de Partie at Lagotto, you will be respsonsible for your own section, ordering, stock & quality control, presentation of dishes as well as the supervisory of more junior team members. You will be working alongside a team of passionate and experienced chefs, and will be able to play a key role in the development of menus and processes.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 2 years experience as a Senior Chef de Partie in a similar restaurant
- A positive, respectful attitude
- Effective communication and delegation skills
- A desire to progress
- Strong work ethic and passion for exceptional food
