We are seeking a suitably qualified Chef to join our dynamic team at Eclectic Tastes in Ballarat, VIC 3350. This is a full-time opportunity for a passionate and talented professional to showcase their skills in our vibrant cafe / restaurant.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a wide range of high-quality dishes across breakfast and lunch
Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service
Assisting with menu development and recipe creation
Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive work culture
What we're looking for
Formal culinary qualifications or equivalent experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Demonstrated expertise in a range of cooking techniques and cuisines
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality dishes
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Passion for using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
Education
Appropriate certification in cooking
Food safety certification
3+ years’ experience
