Sous Chefs & Chefs

We are seeking experienced and superstar Chefs to assist our Head Chef for our opening team. This position requires passion for food & service excellence and is fantastic opportunity to work with a very well established hospitality group. Key Responsibilities: - Produces a high quality food product at all times. - Demonstrate superior recipe knowledge for every item on the menu. - Monitor food quality and quantity as it relates to portion control. - Monitor all food storage facilities to ensure that proper storage techniques are being used and that the cleanliness standards are being maintained. - Requisition the appropriate amount of food product in accordance with the established policies and procedures. - Ensure that all standard recipes are followed in all outlets. - Maintain a harmonious relationship with other members of the service team. - Comply with all of the established operational policies & procedures. - Maintain a clean & safe working environment. - Have a full knowledge of, and practice all of the established occupational health and safety guidelines (OH&S). - Perform any other duties as directed by the Head Chefs About us KOMBU is modern Japanese cafe & restaurant in Melbourne CBD.
