Bar Margaux opened her doors to the public in 2019 and hasn’t looked back. Being part of The Eveleigh Alumni our mission has never wavered - create a classic good-time bar, serving great drinks and delicious food till the early hours.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Well versed in all aspects of Restaurant Management and Bar Management both separately and together, with an understanding of the integration and cohesion that is needed.
  • Exceptional leadership and management - proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a diverse team, ensuring high performance and contributing to a positive work environment - this is a hands-on role for a true leader with a strong training and professional development focus for the team, while continuing to maintain and develop strong workplace culture.
  • Experienced in all facets of venue operations including service standards, menu costing, stock control, licensing regulation and labour management.
  • A talent for multi-tasking and problem solving - having the ability to be solutions focused and have a sound understanding of what needs to be prioritised.
  • Communication is essential to be successful within this venue - in part with this you will need to be confident, organised, and thoughtful within your communication style.
  • Be guest experience focused - monitoring and enhancing the quality of service constantly. 
  • Strong business and financial acumen - working with all departments to develop strategies for maximising revenue and profitability.
  • A strong work ethic - knowing what it takes to be an all-round hospitality professional, both inside and outside the venue, with the drive to becoming an aspirational figure within the industry. 
  • Bar Margaux will require someone with an exceptionally strong hospitality background -   minimum four years experience within a management role in a high volume restaurant or bar.

To succeed we strongly believe in providing the support to benefit the successful candidate. The Venue Manager will report to and work closely with the Group Venue Operations Manager for professional development and support. The role will be further supported by The Everleigh Group’s Leadership team, as well as additional internal and external resources to assist in growth and success both personally and for the venue.
