The role

As an Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing the FISHBOWL brand across your remit. You’ll lead Area Managers and Restaurant Managers to achieve a healthy balance sheet and support their teams to thrive. 

 

Skills and experience

You’ll have:

  • A passion for food and restaurant operations

  • Pragmatic leadership skills with the motivation needed to grow with us 
  • Exceptional influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution expertise 
  • The ability to lead, motivate, and build efficient teams in a fast-paced environment

Your tasks

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of restaurants, working with staff, Area Managers, Restaurant Managers, and Head Office in planning, directing, and coordinating restaurant operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience while managing financial performance. You’ll be expected to: 

  • Role model and reinforce FISHBOWL’s people and culture standards 
  • Coach and develop Area Managers and Restaurant Managers in their career development 
  • Work closely with Head Office to help teams to drive sales growth and deliver results
  • Be active in strategic planning and restaurant operations 
  • Draw insights and take action on key metrics (e.g. restaurant sales and costs) to allow for future growth.
